This year, the International Conference ‘Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering for Energies of the Future’ will be held in parallel with the A3TS Annual Congress 2025 

. The A3TS Annual Congress will feature conferences on scientific and technological innovations and feedback from industry on the whole field of materials processing: heat treatments, surface treatments and coatings, etc.

(official congress language: French).

. The International Conference "Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering for Energies of the Future" will be focused on materials treatment technologies to meet future demand for low-carbon energy:

- Renewable and/or low-carbon energy production: civil nuclear power, wind power, hydroelectricity, photovoltaic energy, biomass/biogas, etc.

- Hydrogen: electrolysers, fuel cells, hydrogen/materials compatibility, etc.

- Electrical applications: batteries, electrical connectivity, electrical insulation, etc.

(official conference language: English).

CALL FOR PAPERS

Manufacturers, universities and research centers are invited to submit oral presentations or posters on scientific or technological advances or feedback from industrial experience in the following areas:

For the Congress :

• Heat & Thermochemical Treatment of metallic alloys
• Thermal or Environnemental Barrier Coating (TBC/EBC)
• Thin layer coatings
• Wet Coating processes
• Characterisation and metrology
• Digitalization of Industry (Simulation, 4.0, AI,...)
• Plants carbon footprint management

For the International conference “Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering for Energies of the Future ” : 

• Heat Treatment & Surface engineering for Low-C and renewable energy production (Nuclear, Solar(PV), Wind, Geothermal,...)
• Heat Treatment & Surface engineering for Hydrogen Energy : Electrolyzers, Fuel cells, H2/Materials compatibility,...
• Heat Treatment & Surface engineering for Electrical Industries : batteries, connectivity, insulation,...

You can submit your conference proposal for the A3TS Congress or the International  Conference on the same platform. We invite you to choose, according to the theme of your conference, at the time of submission, the themes of the A3TS Congress or those of the International Conference.

We recommend that bidders whose conferences deal with applicable solutions in an energy-related field and are aimed at an international audience submit their proposals to the International Conference.

Please note that there is a single registration fee for both the Congress and the International Conference.The deadline for submissions is February 15, 2025.

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

Please submit your abstracts for oral presentation (0,5 to 2 pages with figures) or posters (100 to 300 words).

Online proposal submission

If you have already made deposits for other symposium on sciencesconf (or HAL), your username and password are the same.

In order to submit an abstract, you first need to create an account on sciencesconf.org.

1. Click on “Create an Account”.
2. Fill in the mandatory fields and click the Create account button.
3. You will then receive a confirmation email from Scienceconf.org with an authentication link.
4. Click on the link in order to access the Submissions page.

Click the “Submit an abstract” button. The on-line submission module follows four steps : 

1. In the first form (“Metadata”), fill out the fields for title and abstract. 
2. The “Authors” section is filled automatically. If co-authors need to be added, click on “Add an author”. Don’t forget to indicate their affiliation(s).
3. The “File” section allows you to upload your illustration (pictures, map, etc.).

The "Overview" section summarizes your submission. Check the information and confirm. A pop-up window will open. You will also receive a confirmation email from Sciencesconf.org. (Check your spam folder if you don’t receive it in your regular mailbox).

Please select only ONE TOPIC only from the list (the one you think best suits your conference)
